Event Details:
The Fair Trade Brattleboro working group will have a booth set up at the Brattleboro Farmers Market to celebrate Kids and Fair Trade them on World Fair Trade Day, May 12 2007. There will be many activities for kids, art, and live music. Global and local foods are normally featured at the Farmers Market, and we will be presenting our campaign 'Buy Local and Buy Fair'. Information will be available on how Brattleboro, Vermont is working to become a Fair Trade town, and how we are involved with the newly formed National Fair Trade Communities Coalition, as well as in formation stages of 'Fair Trade Vermont' |
