Master artisan Albert Lopez from Ecuador will demonstrate how he carves sustainably harvested tagua nuts (also called "vegetable ivory" into beautiful jewelry and ornaments. He will also speak about his association with Camari, a Fair Trade artisan group in Quito, and how Camari has changed his life.
