Outdoor theatre workshop to train ourselves as active consumers: Forget that you are shy for one day.
12th of May is the Word Fairtrade Day (WFTD) and ABC Worldshop, who sells Fairtrade products in the center of Lund (Winstrupsgatan 3) want to celebrate this with something funny: Street Theatre. And who is going to play it: YOU!
We use to be too shy to go to a shop and ask about where our clothes came from, or to go to a cafΘ and say: 的 would like to have Fairtrade coffeeo. Why are we so shy? Because we have never trained ourselves to be active consumers. Fairtrade Day is a good day to start with this覇ducationo.
We will meet at 11.00 in Stortorget and we will have colours with us to paint our faces. Which colors?: mainly Blue, Green and Black, which are FLO colors, but other colors are also welcome. With colours in our faces we will became actress and actors, we will loose our shyness and fears and we will became a Fairtrade Guerilla, a pacifist and colorful army. First we will make our training exercises, making improvisations with each other and then , when we feel that we are ready, we will 砺isito the shops and caf駸 and begin the play.
