World Fair Trade Day 2007 report from Sana Haskatala, Nepal.
Warm greetings from Sana Hastakala !!! Happy Fair Trade Day 2007 !!! Today we went to "Shramik Bal Bigyan School " to distribute sationery to the kids in order to mark , WORLD FAIR TRADE DAY 2007 .
The Shramik Bal Bigyan School is a school that caters to kids with very low income backgrounds or who are engaged in domestic child work. The school offers these children an education which will aid them in escaping the poverty cycle that they are caught in. As literate and numerate individuals they will be better equipped to lift themselves out of poverty.
