Essay & Drawing CompetitionsThe children attending the school at Thanapara Swallows, in Bangladesh, took part in a drawing competition just a few weeks ago to mark World Fair Trade Day 2007. 290 children attend the school which is fully supported by Thanapara Swallows Fair Trade organisation and its Fair Trade partners. People Tree, the UK and Japan based Fair Trade company and the Japan based NGO have supported the development and running of the school and daycare center at Thanapara Swallows. Here we bring you three of their drawings. All of these drawings will be exhibited at the World Fair Trade Day event in Tokyo.
