We are living in a world of competition. The Traders compete with each other to make profits. Child Labour is considered a cheap means for large profits. Many adolescents from our villages are engaged in Bonded Labour.
Entertaining children in profit making jobs is a heinous crime against humanity and the most cruel violation of children's rights. By all means child labour should be eliminated from the world. The 9 principles of Fair Trade should be upholded by all traders  throughout the World. WFTD is a right step in promoting fair trade principles. We will make use of this commemoration to stop bonded labor practice in our area. I wish every Success to WFTD 2007.
