Event Details:
The Craft Fair, taking place in the huge gymnasium of Bangkok's oldest and largest International School (by invitation of the school faculty), will feature 45 community-based craft producer groups from all regions of Thailand. Traditional and modern crafts of all kinds will be on display: baskets, large and small, of many fibres; weaving (cotton and silk); ceramics; silver and bead jewellery; embroideries; hill-tribe artefacts; recycled paper products; recycled plastic items; stainless-steel tableware; greetings cards; applique quilts; handmade spa soaps and lotions; leather shadow puppets; artificial flowers (from rubber leaves, Japanese clay and sticky rice); coconut utensils and jewellery; wood-craft; palm-leaf mobiles; twig lamps; and many more. (The school is situated in Bangkok's northern suburbs)
