The Junk to Green Funk Competition is an on-line art competition with a difference!

There are four categories with awesome prizes to be won

* Pre-school
* Primary
* Secondary
* Tertiary/Adults

This competition draws a link between low-impact environmental production (such as the artworks you make) and fair trade craft and food (such as Trade Aid producer partners make).

The artwork you create will be made from recycled materials. It will be an object with a low carbon footprint; and has a useful and/or aesthetic aspect to it. The competition runs through Fair Trade Fortnight and culminates on World Environment Day - June 5, when a panel of judges will chose the best pieces in each section.

Junk to Green Funk is also the theme that will feature at our Art Auction on June 3 for World Environment Day in Wellington. see www.tradeaid.org.nz for more details
