Peacecraft looking for solutions to the environmental crisis at hand

Peacecraft is Albuquerque, New Mexico’s non-profit, Fair Trade Store. In June of 2008, Peacecraft celebrates 19 years of providing the greater Albuquerque area with a wide assortment of fairly-traded, eco ?friendly products. As the destruction of global warming becomes more and more visible, Peacecraft’s ability to offer these products is of imminent importance to people looking for solutions to the environmental crisis at hand.

Peacecraft supports environmentally friendly products because we want to offer "greener", more conscientious options to our customers, while at the same time ensuring a sustainable lifestyle for the producers of the products. Through the use of recycled items, abundant natural resources, sustainable farming practices, and human generated energy, the Fair Trade Cooperatives we do business with use environmentally friendly production methods on all levels.

The staff and Board of Directors of Peacecraft are dedicated to educating the public on the importance of buying Fair Trade and environmentally sound products. Our staff is trained to expound on the necessity of purchasing and using only non-toxic glassware, pottery and dyed fabrics. Our store is resplendent in this awareness and offers a relaxed and conversational method of awakening the outer public to environmental issues.
